Roger Smith Homes is owned by Roger and Marjorie Smith, and myself, Roger Smith, Jr. My dad has been building since he was a young man, inspired by my grandfather who was himself an insulation and weatherstripping contractor. A commercial contractor for years, he got into homebuilding in the 1970s, building numerous  homes and distinctive subdivisions in much of Sandia Heights and later, throughout Albuquerque and the surrounding area. These homes are still highly prized in the marketplace today, both for their location as well as their design and especially, their energy saving features. I started working for Mom and Dad in high school and college, learning the business from the bottom up, and we have been building together ever since. 

For years, Roger Smith Homes has been building homes with higher standards of materials and workmanship, and has always been a builder of more energy efficient homes. We are constantly on the lookout for better performing building techniques and products to satisfy our homebuyers. All of our homes are built to Building America  Program standards as a minimum and will specify Energystar Certified appliances and fixtures. Building to these higher standards will ensure that our homes and homebuyers will enjoy cleaner air, greater comfort, lower utility bills, and lasting value.

    Here at Roger Smith we know from experience that a satisfied customer results from a job well done, completed on time and on budget. Our focus will be to make it happen, and to minimize a client's stress along the way. The fact is, we want you to tell everyone how happy you are when the job is done.
